Hookcord is a Chrome extension developed by Sami Production. This policy explains what data Hookcord accesses, how it is used, and what we do not do with it.
We are committed to keeping your data private. Hookcord does not collect, sell, or share your personal information with any third party.
Webhook URLs you add are stored locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local. They are never transmitted to our servers.
Your embed drafts and message content are saved locally in your browser. We do not read or access this data.
When you send a message, Hookcord makes a direct request from your browser to Discord's webhook API (discord.com/api/webhooks/*). This data goes directly to Discord — not through our servers.
We do not collect, store, or transmit:
— Personal identification information
— Browsing history or activity
— Message content or embed data
— Analytics or usage telemetry
— Financial or payment information
Hookcord interacts with the following external services:
Discord — receives your webhook messages directly. Governed by Discord's Privacy Policy.
Ko-fi - optional donation platform. If you choose to donate, you will be redirected to Ko-fi's website. Governed by Ko-fi's Privacy Policy.
All data (webhooks, drafts, settings) is stored exclusively in your local browser storage via Chrome's built-in chrome.storage API. Uninstalling the extension removes all stored data.
Hookcord is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
We may update this policy occasionally. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the extension constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
